Chelsey Gonzalez

Chelsey received her Bachelor of Arts at California State University San Marcos where she majored in Literature and Writing Studies. She continued her education at California Western School of Law receiving her Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 2021. While at Cal Western, Chelsey served as an Associate Editor on Law review, a Senior Editor of the International Law Journal, and as Vice President of Diversity and President of the American Constitution Society. She received an Academic Excellence Award in Criminal Law. Chelsey also had the opportunity during law school to study abroad in the Czech Republic.

Chelsey gained valuable experience in the field of law serving as a Judicial Extern for Magistrate Judge William Gallo in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. She also worked for a time as a Justicecorp Intern at the San Diego Superior Court, and a Clinical Extern at the California Innocence Project.

Away from the office, Chelsey enjoys playing volleyball, hiking, indoor rock climbing, and playing piano.
