D. Andrew Lajoie

Andrew currently practices transactional law, but also has complex business litigation experience and civil litigation defense experience in the areas of transportation law and premises liability claims. He is licensed to practice in Nevada state and federal courts. Prior to his private practice, Andrew was a Law Clerk to the Honorable Mark R. Denton in the Business Court of the Eighth Judicial District Court, District of Nevada.

Andrew received his Bachelor of Science with a major in Economics from the University of Utah. He earned his Juris Doctor in a Business Law Concentration with honors, from California Western School of Law. At Cal Western, Andrew served for a time as the Director of the Student Bar Association and the Editor-in-Chief of the Student Bar Association newspaper, The Commentary. He was a member of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society, served as Treasurer of both the Employment and Labor Law Society and the Business Law Society, and was a member of the Graduation Committee. In 2015 he received a Distinguished Advocate Award for the Moot Court Legal Skills II Competition. He received the California Western Student of Distinction award for 2016-2017.

Andrew also draws from his management background in banking and compliance where he worked throughout undergrad and during law school, as well as his experience working for the San Diego County Treasurer-Tax Collector office.

In his spare time, Andrew enjoys wake surfing on Lake Mead, playing golf and tennis, as well as his frequent visits to Disneyland with his wife and children.
