Jacquelyn J. Kelley

Jacquelyn graduated from the University of San Diego, College of the Arts and Sciences with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in Ethnic Studies. As an undergrad, Jacquelyn studied abroad at the University of Hong Kong, focusing on communication and ethnic studies courses. She received her Juris Doctor from Florida A & M University College of Law. She was a member of the school’s Environmental Law Society, Student Animal Legal Defense Fund, and served as Third Year Class Representative and Executive Secretary of the Student Bar Association. Jacquelyn competed on the Moot Court Team, the Mock Trial Team and served as the Advocacy Board, Mock Trial Team Board Chair. She interned at the Office of the Federal Defender for the 9th Judicial Circuit Orange and Osceola County, and also at the law school’s Housing Clinic where she provided legal services to indigent clients.

As an associate attorney at Alverson, Taylor, Mortensen & Sanders, Jacquelyn’s civil litigation practice focuses on transportation law and product liability defense.

During her spare time, Jacquelyn enjoys traveling, spending time with family, cooking, painting, and fictional short story writing.
