Marian Massey

Marian attended college at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where she received dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Sociology and in Community Studies. As an undergraduate student, Marian studied abroad in Ireland and Thailand. Prior to law school, Marian taught English as a Second Language (ESL) in South Korea.

Marian received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego School of Law. During law school, Marian served as a Lead Articles Editor for San Diego Law Review. Marian actively participated in student government, and was elected as the Student Bar Association Vice President of Student Organizations during her third year of law school. She was also a member of USD’s National Mock Trial Team, and competed in the San Diego Defense Lawyers (SDDL) mock trial competition. Marian also served as a judicial intern in the chambers of Richard Huffman, associate justice of the Fourth District Court of Appeals for the State of California, where she drafted three unpublished appellate opinions.

Marian is licensed to practice in Nevada and works on civil litigation matters with an emphasis in products liability defense and transportation law.

Marian spends her free time hiking, cheering for the San Francisco Giants, traveling, camping, and spending time with her loving husband and adorable dog.
