Scott L. Smith

Personal:
Scott earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Utah Valley University where he majored in Business Management. He went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from the University of Utah College of Law.

While in law school, Scott served as a Senior Staff Member for the Utah Law Review and enjoyed participating in the school’s Traynor Moot Court and Trial Advocacy programs. He spent his 3L academic year as a Student Honors Legal Intern for the Enforcement Division of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. He also spent time working as a judicial intern for Judge Michele Christiansen at the Utah Court of Appeals.

Scott is licensed to practice law in Utah and Nevada and works on civil litigation matters with an emphasis in health care law.

In his spare time, Scott can be found hiking with his family or watching the Utah Jazz.
