Personal:
Eric J. Willoughby is an
associate with Alverson, Taylor, Mortensen & Sanders, who practices in all
areas of civil litigation with a focus in health care litigation. Eric was
admitted to practice law in 2006, and is licensed in both State and Federal
courts in Nevada.
Eric graduated from the University of San Diego
in 2002, where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. While at
the University of San Diego, Eric’s accomplishments included being named to
the Dean’s Honor List.
He received his Juris Doctorate from California
Western School of Law in 2006. While attending California Western, Eric
received several awards including being named to the Dean’s Honor List and
an academic achievement award in advanced legal writing. In addition, while
at California Western, he completed an externship with District Court Judge
Joseph T. Bonaventure, wherein he also received an academic achievement
award for his accomplishments.
Upon graduation from California Western, Eric
commenced a clerkship with District Court Judge Joseph T. Bonaventure.
Thereafter, he also had the opportunity to clerk for District Court Judge
Elissa F. Cadish. Following this, Eric joined Alverson, Taylor, Mortensen &
Sanders.
