Personal:
Ian Houston is an
associate with Alverson, Taylor, Mortensen & Sanders. He was admitted to
practice law in the State of Nevada in 2010 and is licensed in both State
Court and the United States District Court, District of Nevada. Ian works
on civil litigation matters, with an emphasis on medical malpractice
defense.
Ian earned his Bachelor of Arts with High Distinction in Journalism
from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2005. While at UNR, Ian was a member
of an Integrated Marketing Communications team that placed in the top ten in
national competition. Ian was also presented with the Donald W. Reynolds
School of Journalism 2004 James Fasules Advertising Award for Leadership,
Scholarship and Integrity.
Ian received his Juris Doctorate degree from the William S. Boyd
School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in December 2009. While
in law school, Ian was a staff member on the Nevada Law Journal.
