Personal:
Keith Hansen is an associate at Alverson, Taylor, Mortensen, & Sanders
practicing in civil litigation with an emphasis in healthcare law. Keith
was admitted to practice law in Nevada in 2009.
Keith graduated from the William S. Boyd School of Law in Las Vegas, Nevada,
in 2009. While in law school, Keith received various awards and
distinctions including recognition as a member of the Dean’s List, and
academic excellence awards in Mediation and Pretrial Litigation. Keith was
a member of the inaugural Mediation Clinic at the Boyd School of Law, and,
as such, he received specialized mediation training and mediated numerous
cases, both in the Nevada district court and for Nevada’s Neighborhood
Justice Center. After completing his Juris Doctorate, Keith accepted a
position with the Boyd School of Law as a post-graduate teaching instructor
for the mediation clinic, where he continues to mentor and instruct students
in alternative dispute resolution.
In addition to his academic pursuits, Keith was also involved in numerous
associations and activities while in law school. Specifically, he was a
member of the Sports and Entertainment Law Association, the J. Reuben Clark
Society, and was a founding member of the Grassy Banks Society. Keith was
also a member of the William S. Boyd flag football team, which won
consecutive UNLV intramural championships in 2007 and 2008.
Prior to law school, Keith studied English at Brigham Young University, were
he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in 2006. Before concluding his studies at
BYU, Keith relocated to Germany where he worked on an American military base
as an assistant sports director. While in Germany, Keith studied German
though an extension of the University of Heidelberg.
In his spare time, Keith enjoys spending time with his wife and three
beautiful children. His hobbies include travelling with his family, playing
golf, and following BYU football.
