Associate attorney
Kimberley Hyson was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and grew up in Las
Vegas, Nevada. She graduated from Pepperdine University in 2005 with
Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and Sociology. In 2009, she received
her Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine University, cum laude. During law
school, Kimberley served as a Literary Citation Editor on the Pepperdine Law
Review, was a member of Phi Delta Phi Honor Society, and clerked at the Los
Angeles City Attorney’s Office. She also competed on the Moot Court team
and served as the Interschool Moot Court Chair from 2008-2009. In 2009,
Kimberley participated in Pepperdine’s annual interschool competition, the
Vincent S. Dalsimer Moot Court Competition, where she and her partner were
named Champions and won the First Place Petitioner’s Brief Award. Also, in
2009 she travelled to Hong Kong to participate in the Sixth Willem C. Vis
International Commercial Arbitration East Moot, where she won Third
Runner-up Best Oral Advocate.
