Personal:
Shirly Blazich practices
civil litigation with emphasis in medical malpractice, commercial litigation
and employment discrimination. She began her legal career at Alverson,
Taylor, Mortensen & Sanders in 2003, after receiving her Juris Doctorate
from Loyola Law School. She received her Bachelor of Arts in 1999 from
Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. While in college and law school,
Shirley studied abroad in Italy on two separate occasions and took advantage
of her proximity to visit 17 different countries in Europe. Shirley
participated on the 2002-2003 Byrne Trial Advocacy Team during the National
Trial Competition. The Byrne Team won Regional Champion.
A self-admitted “globe trotter”, Shirley was born
in Los Angeles, California, however with family in Serbia and Croatia she
regularly traveled between continents from an early age. Shirley speaks
fluent Serbian/Croatian and is conversant in Italian.
