Karie N. Wilson

Karie Wilson has lived in Las Vegas since 2001. She practices civil litigation with a focus in products liability, transportation law, premises liability, and defends clients against catastrophic injury and wrongful death claims. Karie has defended a leading tire manufacturer, as well as manufacturers of motor homes, industrial equipment and household appliances, and has been involved in product recall and multi-district litigation. Karie has also defended large transportation companies, independent owners and operators, and companies specializing in roadway construction and traffic control. Her practice also includes the defense of a major hotel located on the Las Vegas Strip.

Karie was born in Pueblo, Colorado. When she was five, her family moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where her father accepted a teaching job. Karie graduated magna cum laude from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. While at UNM, she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Karie attended California Western School of Law in San Diego, California, on an academic scholarship. During law school, she was a member of the Moot Court team and the Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity. Karie joined the firm in March of 2001 and became a partner in 2007.

Karie has been listed in Mountain States SuperLawyers magazine since 2008, and she was named in the Nevada Business Journal (June 2008) as one of Nevada’s Top Attorneys. Karie is a member of the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel (FDCC), U.S. Supreme Court Historical Society, and frequently contributes to ALFA International publications on transportation, punitive damages and products liability issues. She has also served as the President of the Young Professional Women’s Club within the Nevada Women’s Chamber of Commerce.

In her spare time, Karie enjoys reading, fitness training, hiking and yoga, and recently completed a half-marathon and sprint triathlon.
